VB Comedy Fest highlights early-career stand-up and improv comics, with a strong emphasis on both growing the regional comedy base and showcasing nationally emerging comics. This year’s festival will expand a bit in duration to be as inclusive as possible while ensuring appropriate distancing practices. Who wants to play to a full room anyway?
Kidding aside, VB Comedy Fest is a great antidote (or inoculation, maybe) to quarantine blues. Unique to this year is a Pandemic Panic prize for the comic with the best (or worst, depending on your viewpoint) COVID riff.
VB Comedy Fest runs from the 6th and 7th of November, with both live and virtual offerings.
