A Soulful Christmas: A Groovy Musical Revue is the new, 70’s Holiday Musical Show for lovers of Gospel, R&B, and Soul. Be transported back to the disco era into our ‘Groovy Wonderland” inspired by the hit TV show “Soul Train”. Presented by UPAC, the team that produced last year’s A Motown Christmas, this all-new production will feature talented artists from the DMV region.

A Tidewater Winds Big Band Christmas featuring The Tidewater Winds Big Band with guest jazz vocalist Danielle Roby.

Under the direction of John Brewington

The program will feature the Tidewater Winds Big Band playing some of the original arrangements from the Glen Miller Christmas Songbook, music from Jazz at the Lincoln Center, and even a couple of charts from Tommy Newsom as performed by Doc Severinsen and the Tonight Show Band! This performance is filled with holiday favorites, new arrangements, the debut of new vocalist Danielle Roby and classic holiday music of today and yesterday!

Three rising stars return to The Z stage to take you on a musical journey through echoes of their past and visions of their electrifying future.

Black Girl Magic takes its audience on a journey lead by Sister, a young Black woman, struggling to find a place of acceptance in the world. Guided by her African ancestors, Sister comes to a place of self-reconciliation and acceptance as she is given a glimpse into the lives and legacy of Black women, past and present, young and old.
