Guided by guest artist Deborah Wallace, this session explores the relationship between movement, the body, and being. Participants will develop a stronger awareness of their physicality and what it is to actually BE HERE in space and time. This session will then transform into an exploration of being when it comes to immersive acting and inter-acting.
This session is part of an ongoing initiative between ROŪGE and The Z to provide a laboratory for performers to dive into fresh techniques, experiment, and collaborate in a no-performance-pressure environment. Each session is led by a guest artist who will facilitate a specialized workshop that leads into exploration of themes and ideas for upcoming shows like Pride & Prejudice & Dragons, As You Love It, and Romeo & Juliet.
