MARKETING: VIDEO INTERN
- The Z is is seeking a creative and motivated Video Marketing Intern to join our digital marketing team. This internship offers hands-on experience in producing engaging video content that supports our mission. You will assist in the strategy, creation, editing, and distribution of video materials that enhance our online presence and user engagement. The Video Marketing Intern will report to the Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing and medical content teams to develop video content for productions and promotions
- Receive B-roll from Production Team and edit into marketing clips and videos for distribution
- Capture roving B-roll pre and post-performance to include testimonials, audience reactions, and other feedback
- Assist in editing and producing short-form and long-form videos for various platforms (website, social media).
- Support the management of video assets and maintain organized digital libraries.
- Stay updated on video marketing trends and tools to recommend innovative approaches.
- Assist with other marketing and social media projects as needed.
PRODUCTION: VIDEO INTERN
- Video techs will assist The Z’s Production Department with setup, operation, and strike of video equipment during performances, events, and festivals throughout The Z’s season. Additional video editing and content creation opportunities may be available. Internships can be tailored to the intern's skill level and interests, with opportunities for creative input and ideas.

- Video camera setup, operation, and breakdown of Z-owned video equipment, with editing and content creating possibilities.
- Setup, operate, and strike cameras for Children’s Theatre of Hampton Roads performances. Includes operation of medium to long shot camera during 50-60 minute production.
- Editing two camera production footage down to one track
- Video file management
- Setup of single camera setups for archival video footage recording of productions
- Recording roving B-Roll during performances, events, and festivals which may include: marketing-ready audience reactions, performance snippets (theater, music, dance), etc.
- Comfort with video camera and tripod setup and operation
- Comfortable with framing of shots of performances ranging from stationary musicians to actors running around a stage.
- Basic understanding of frame rate, color temperature, shutter speed, ISO, video formats, and resolution.

Zeiders American Dream Theater’s Vocal Jazz Summit Team is seeking a college student interested and skilled in marketing and social media content creation & posting.
Must be well-skilled in video editing, digital content creation, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Seeking a self-disciplined, excellent communicator who values flexibility in their schedule and ability to work remotely.
Hours are flexible. There is no required minimum hours. Internship requires the ability to complete tasks according to assigned deadlines. Good communication is key. Interest in jazz or music would be nice but is not required. If your school offers class credit, we are happy to work with you and fill out forms towards your class credit.
Compensation will be in the form of tickets to Zeiders American Dream Theater performances and events, to include 2 all access passes to The Z’s premier Vocal Jazz Summit June 3-7, 2026, featuring Grammy Winning artists, worth up to $600.
