Unfortunately\, meeting The Boogeyman may be the least of Christie’s worries! This production is a fun romp through the imagination\, and a perfect seasonal treat for the whole family. See below for details on a FREE\, multi-day set of engagements! \nOct. 28 – Nov. 1: \nCommunity Ofrenda (offering/altar) in the Zeiders American Dream Theater lobby. Hours are noon to 6 p.m. As a traditional part of Dia de Muertos\, you are welcome to bring items honoring your ancestors to place in the ofrenda during the days leading up to the main events on Nov. 1. You may pick up your items that evening. \nNov. 1: \nLobby doors open at 5 p.m. for Cultural Equity Committee preshow mixer. Artists and community members seeking inspiration and networking opportunities are welcome to gather in the Zeiders American Dream Theater lobby to meet and enjoy Mexican treats and atmosphere. \nWe also invite you to view elegant and detailed fashion artistry at the Pasarela of Catrinas (pageant of catrinas) in the lobby pre-show\, as community members share their interpretations of the culturally iconic Catrina. \nPerformances in the theater begin at 7:30 p.m. Program includes live music and traditional dance and fashion. \nEvents presented in partnership with the Hispanic Leadership Forum of Hampton Roads and VBGigs
